  • Coaching

It all starts with thinking.  Until you change your thinking, you will have difficulty changing your attitude, your behavior, or your results.  Having a discussion about what you value is worthwhile, but behind your values is a thinking process that helped you set your values.  Studies show that the average person has between 50,000 and 65,000 thoughts per day.  95% of them are the same ever day.  Real sustainable change cannot take place just by changing your behavior or your attitude.  It has to start with your thinking.

Our coaching starts with a free MindScan which will help you be more aware of what is behind the decisions and choices you make.  For more information about the MindScan Profile, click here

We offer coaching and training programs that allow you to work and learn at the same time.

Addie Woods helps you find the resources you need to leverage your time and meet the changing needs of your clients.  You have the choice of one-on-one coaching, team coaching, or joining a group of six people who have similar experiences and needs to improve their businesses.

  • Practice Management

You are working hard. Your challenge is to blend your business and your personal life.  How do you work less and earn more?  How does your practice compare to other financial professionals?

Are you getting a sufficient number of net new clients?  Can your clients tell others what you do in a short, articulate way?

Are you doing enough to differentiate your business from the competition?  Are you adequately staffed?

The first step is to benchmark your business against the best practices in the financial services business and then develop a plan to improve the way you do business.

Addie woods can help you leverage your knowledge and resources so that you can better blend your business and personal life.

  • Foundations of Management

The Foundations of Management Certification Program is an online learning program for newly appointed sales managers that includes facilitated meetings to teach, reinforce and apply basic management skills

The course consists of 9 learning modules, 3 facilitated meetings and a one-on-one-certification, plus 2 Action Plan follow-up sessions.

  • The Beneficiary Book

If a client dies, will you be in the loop and continue to work with the surviving family members?  Or will another financial advisor benefit from all that you have done?

Don’t forget about the beneficiaries.  As the trusted advisor, you should be the “go-to” person in those trying times.  Every family member should know who you are and look to you for advice.

The Beneficiary Book  is the road map for you and the family.  It is a written script that contains all the details and wishes of your client.  It is a gift of answers from the client to his/her family.  It will provide the family with the information they need  to make life easier and give them time to mourn.

The Beneficiary Book is one of the best ways for your clients to say "I love you" to their families.

Everyone of your clients needs to have a written Disaster Recovery Plan and you need to be the catalyst to help them get it done.

Don’t forget to put your own Beneficiary Book together too.  Who will your family look to for information and advice?

  • Building A Wealth Managment Practice

What is it that you really do for your clients?  Are there any disconnects between what you do for your clients and what they expect?  Do you know more about your clients' money than you know about them and their families?

Rather than focus on how many assets you have under management, perhaps the better focus would be on how many relationships you have under management?

Perhaps it is time for you to rethink your vision and mission.  What is it that you really do for your clients?  How do they measure your value to them? Is it all about performance and products, or is there something special that connects you with your clients?  Are you compensated for just selling products, performance and services, or are you directly compensated for your knowledge, skills, experience and wisdom?

Perhaps it is time to do a little thinking and risk analysis of your own.  What are the chances that you will lose clients during the next year?  Have you segmented your clients to make sure that you are offering the right services to the right people?  Do you have balanced, profitable relationships, or is there an imbalance between what you do for your clients and what you get back in terms of compensation or impact?

Wealth Management is about understanding the client’s lifestyle, his/her hopes, dreams, needs, and wants.  So rather than start with a balance sheet, start with a conversation about life.  Where have they been?   Where are they going?  What events do they need to deal with now and in the future?

Ask yourself the same questions:  What are your hopes, dreams, needs, and wants?  Do you have a clear vision of who you are, who you could be and who you should be?  Perhaps you need a coach to help you think this through.
